when playing ranked leagues, Why not default to pick the same character you used last. it’s very slow and buggy to go through the character select every stinking time. also if I’m on my phone or not paying attention for a minute I always get stuck having to be Jago or Fulgore
I think it would be cool if instead of automatically choosing/locking them in and throwing you in the match without an option to choose, it just put the cursor on your last played character that way in cases you mentioned where you might be on the phone or away it will auto select your last played character when the timer runs out.
I also think it would be nice to be able to press B and back out of a select in case you go too fast and pick the wrong character. Keep it so that once the timer is out its out and you have to deal with it, but if you are going to fast and pick the wrong character and there is still 10 seconds on the clock I don’t see the harm in allowing us to press B and go to who we really want to play.

Ah I see, when I first read it I thought you meant something more along the lines of SFV where your character auto-chosen in a way.
