Dark Souls 3 (SPOILERS ARE BLURRED. VIEW AT YOUR OWN RISK)

DS1 is, by far, the one I’ve spent the most time playing. I’ve also bought it on 4 separate occasions. Originally for Ps3, then I sold it and the console to a friend. Then bought it for 360. “Lent” that copy to my brother. (he still has it). Then re-bought it on 360. Then bought the PC version when it came out. I’ve spent ~$250 just buying the game.

Well my PS4 has bit the dust…I have to buy a new PS4 pro. My current PS4 works, but it shuts off after about 45 mins to an hour.
I want to play DS3 Ringed City so bad right now and I cant…so I played Ds1 last night…and now Ds2 today and Ds2 is so …ughhh…I had gotten used to it last month and enjoyed it but after playing 3 it just makes 2 so horrible.

I just fought the CHairot skeleton and this game is so stupid you cant heal fast enough, you get swarmed, you get locked into menu stun when there is an item drop.
Ughhh I just want to go get the PS4 pro right now

This is what I meant by Agility being a required stat. Not only does it speed up estus use, but it increases your i-frames on dodge rolls. Also, Lifegems activate their healing faster than Estus ever will, even when Agility is at its hard cap.

Yeah I know but even life gems you can take one but its not an instant heal like in1 and 3…its a gradual heal and if you get hit just after you still die LOL

Its so hard to get used to… DS2 is by far the hardest of the 3 IMO

So, was anyone disappointed with the Ringed City DLC overall?

I feel like it was a little over hyped. It’s definitely bigger than Ashes of Ariandel, but not by much. And it’s very, very linear.

I’ve finished it with two characters so far, and have started with a third. Here are some of the issues I have with it:

  • Dreg Heap is very small. This was the area promoted the most, and it’s a very small part of this expansion.

  • You can’t back-track in the Dreg Heap due to all the drops. If you missed something, the only way to go back is to homeward bone, which of course, resets the area.

  • Areas feel very disjointed. You start at the Dreg Heap, then you’re in a swamp, then end up in a ruined city, then back to another swamp, then you’re in the ruins of an old mine, and then to a desert-like area. It doesn’t flow very well. Ashes of Ariandel felt much more cohesive.

  • Three bosses right in a row

  • The desert area at the end feels unfinished. Feels like it was supposed to be an area to explore, and they just ran out of time and made the entire area Gael’s boss fight.

  • Over-inflated HP for Midir and Gael. These two bosses have so much health, it begins to feel like an endurance test rather than a fun, engaging boss battle.

I love it so far …no issues with it or Ashes of Airandel.

The largest issue I have is how much health Gael has. The Demon Prince boss fight is easily in the top 5 of the game. Feels like a really close remake of Dunkstien and Slamough.
Patches has an amazing story and the humanity puzzle and other secretes are amazing.

Yeah I enjoyed Demon prince…Right now Im in the swamp Silver knight area.

Took a break and been playing Bloodborne again.
