Could my MacBook Pro run KI and various other games

Just bought the new MacBook Pro about a month ago and was considering running Windows 10 on it through boot camp. After doing my own research is seems like I would be able to run any game I would like but I wouldn’t be able to run any games on 4K with the highest specs, which is fine with me.

Do you guys think I would have any problems running KI, Guilty Gear, or SFV? Here are the specs:

• 2.7GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor, Turbo Boost up to 3.6GHz
• 16GB 2133MHz memory
• 1TB PCIe-based SSD
• Radeon Pro 460 with 4GB memory

From a quick perusal of specs it seems like KI should be okay, but the best way to find out is to run it and see for yourself.

If you find yourself installing Windows 10 anyway (and assuming you don’t own KI yet) you can just download the game for free, try it, and then decide whether it’s running well enough to spend any money on.

I already have KI on Xbox so I would get it for PC for free. I just didn’t want to spend money on a copy of Windows 10 if the game ran like poo. I may try it anyways. I would be more disappointed if I couldn’t play GG or SFV on here.

Ehh, I’m a little more unsure about SFV and Xrd. I have a feeling that SFV requires a more beefy graphics chip, but I can’t say one way or another for sure.

If you can be bothered, you could install Windows 10 without activating it (the installer is available from Microsoft online), install KI, try it out, and then decide whether to activate Windows 10 based on how well it performs? That won’t help with the other games unless you’ve bought them for another machine, though.

Thats a good idea. I think I have like $30 worth of steam credit so I may just use it on one of the games and see if it will run or not.

You can also return steam games if you’ve played less than 2 hours. Citing “it doesn’t run on my machine” is enough to get your money back.
