this may or not help, but make sure you have the latest updates and versions of everything … steam, win10, KI, etc.
I also couldn’t connect to Steam. I finally could play today, ranked was working and I also got my golden rank back (I was playing for the grind, but after the update I was put in qualifiers again, though I didn’t play so the rank fixed itself).
