One thing i know Gargos was much easier to defeat than EyedolâŠ
The Eyedol hate is so strong from that one guy itâs bonkers.
Aganos is Eyedol 2.0
Multiple faces, Club(which Can be made of stone fyi), fortification mechanic, attack power.
this is more Eyedol than many of the suggestions for him, which was pretty much: Two heads and â â â â â everything else.
Hey, what a nifty concept to tie the whole story together?!? I like it!
Itâs a sequel, this game talks about the robot arms of sabrewulf and how he take it off.
This so much! Some people here are rather quite selective with regards to a âproper explanationâ for the characterâs inclusion while conveniently ignoring most of the new characters (To KI) are here simply because of Ultratechâs meddling. So why canât UT meddle some more? Why is there a limit when talking about Eyedol?
Probably Joanna Dark!
Why would Eyedol need âmanipulatingâ to fight Gargos if theyâre already ârivalsâ
Why wouldnât he just leave the portal with Gargos.
Isnât in Eyedolâs best interest to work with Gargos?
Why would Aria summon another warlord to handle the other Sheâd still have to deal with the other?
I think it having Eyedol and Gargos be allies of necessity, trying to reclaim the earth for themselves and the other warlords.
Eyedol gets greedy which essentially ends their alliance.
Until his announcement, Tusk wasnât hinted in both s1 and s2. Same as Kim
One could say that they arent important because they arenât mentioned.
Thats false. As it is using the same argument with Eyedol.
And having"multiple faces" makes him similar enough to Aganos as Jago to Thunder for both being humans or glacius to arbiter for being aliens
We can have a multi faced golem and a multi head ettin/cyclops
During Season 2 (or at least at the end of S2 once all of the characters were known/released) @TempusChaoti specifically stated that if a third season was to happen, both Kim and Tusk would be coming back, guaranteed. Heâs also stated that the team had struggled with ways they could make Eyedol interested and relevant in both looks and gameplay, and he wasnât sure whether Eyedol would return in a hypothetical later Season.
I donât care one way or the other if Eyedol comes back, but if he DOES come back I would want him to have interesting mechanics, and to have a place in the story that makes his inclusion worthwhile, rather than just for nostalgiaâs sake.
Not that I doubt the team would be able to make him interesting, but I donât want them to include him âjust because,â either.
I mean in the game story, not by the devs.
What I mean is that if a character wasnât mentioned until s3 in the story doesnt means he/she wont be relevant in the lore.
Tusk was a warrior from other era who faced the Ki characters after a timetravel. Now he is an inmortal, which rationalize his barbarian esque in modern times. I like it. I want to see this on Eyedol
This I completely agree with. As long as they can make him interesting to look at, interesting to play, and fit well into the story, then Iâd be happy to see him back. If they canât (or choose not to) do these things, Iâd rather see someone brand new made by IG than include him simply for nostalgic purposes.
I think Aria is the working template for him, with the same basic concept: Each head has a different style; once both heads are down the match is over. One head uses the club, the other doesnât (As visual cues).
From there IG can make both heads work as polar opposites, and as a bonus it works as a middle-ground or âtrainingâ before learning to use Aria.
Sounds good! I would prefer that even the normals are different between different âhead in chargeâ though! Imagine being able to play and switch between two characters at once!
@Zeybuccaneer had the BEST Eyedol design⊠literally the best Iâve ever seen. The only one that made me feel like Iâd want to play the character.
