Cloves kick is unsafe up close but at a distance good way to start a combo. Depending on what the opponent is doing.

Yea cloven kick is probably a good whiff punisher, but I never use it honestly (usually stick to HP or MP). Theres probably some interesting tech involving it’s wall splat property tho.

I’ve found sticking people with nades in neutral and annoying them with single carbine shots is key. Forces them to block, and you can get a cmd grab if you make the read, or take another approach depending on the situation. A good recap setup is after the overhead ender x combo trait nade, do s.LK (causes a flipout) then throw. Juggle em with a carbine shot so the nade recaps (heavier chars need 2 shots I think). Most of the time you need shield up cause the nade will hit you if you’re in the corner/too close (overhead ender plus flipout throw corner carries pretty far). Once they scout the s.LK and throw is when your options really start to open up.
