BTW, any of you seen some of the really bad kaiju movies like “Yonggary”?
It was a remake of a South Korean movie from the 60s that’s essentially a rip-off of “Godzilla”. There were actually like two or three different versions of the same movie.
I definitely don’t recall ever seeing those particular miniatures, let alone Yonggary ever having wings in the movie, but man that model looks cool!

The film is about a gigantic kaiju, basically a Godzilla monster, that had died and its leftover body is now sitting and rotting in a city. According to early reports, the film is about “the unique threats that the corpse presents.” It’s an interesting premise imo. What do you guys think?

He would be considered a kaiju on the basis of his size (300 feet). Granted, Kong in the 1933 film was fifty feet, but it’s still really large.

Technically speaking, the word “kaiju” means “strange or mysterious beast”. Nowadays it’s sort of the go-to word for anything bigger than a whale or mountain.
Mothra, yes. Godzilla…a bit hazy. He’s not good or evil, just this force of nature like a hurricane.
Frenemies would probably be a term to describe their relationship. They were enemies, but there were times where they did team up in the films.

Godzilla is the king of the monsters and Kong is a king in his own right, so es and no.
Yes they are, some of them do have higher intelligence than others but some are like Ghidorah, and Destroyah are capable of malice.

Depends on the version. Godzilla and Mothra have fought in the series the latter defending the other. Godzilla was sometimes a reluctant defender but the legendary version is concerned about balance and will defend both titans and humans but is also not above killing one or the other if he has to get his point across.
Are Godzilla and Mothra nemeses OR rivals to each other?
Sometimes they were enemies but recent versions portray them as allies . Godzilla’s nemesis is Ghidorah. To hit that home the relationship between Godzilla and Ghidorah is like this.
