It wouldn’t surprise me at all if Eyedol was in the last slot. I’ve said before - you keep the identity of the final character a secret for a year and then your big finale reveal is… Eagle!? Seems unlikely. As far as shadow Orchid that makes more sense for a bonus character or some kind of community fund.
It’s easy to make bad predictions and read too much into small unintentional things. But I’m still having a hard time explaining why it’s Shadow Lords (plural) mode without another boss character. Anything’s possible. I wouldn’t bet money on Eyedol but of the named choices in front if me I would say that I think he is the most likely.
That’s true, but I think there are better arguments against them including Eyedol than having too many massive characters. Still, like I said, I wouldn’t put money in him. But I honestly haven’t heard any suggestions that I think are more likely.
The reason why I think its Eyedol is becasue I dont think there will be a Season 4
Unless…Eyedol and Eagle are the 2 staple characters for S4…but even then you are talking 27 characters at the end of S3 and adding to that number just seems like overkill. The last thing KI needs is a watered down character select screen with too many to choose from and characters being similar.
Id rather there be a KI part 2, a whole new game built from the ground up with Unreal engine and all the bells and whistles its capable of going into 2017-2018.
And as much as Ish and Ken Lobb are uninterested in Eyedol…I dont see them making a whole season based off Eyedol.
Now is the time to close the book on KI 2013 IMO and start a new game with a new engine.
Your point brings me to a thought: I would like to see a character from the new back stories since there’s none of the fleshed-out characters in some of the better outlined stories.
gargos is defeated and alls well in the world, however eyedol lives and plots his takeover now
both eyedol and gargos perish
Hinted new threats arise (kan-ra I have a feeling he’s going to acquire something from the astral plane and begin world domination, mira and the coven. Vampire plague.) The other candidate is Sadira (it’s a maybe though) Or there’s a completely new threat altogether
