So, character backstories are cool and stuff. Good job, dudes.
But I kinda wish I could look at them without starting up a new play through to do it.

So I’m thinking, in the main Shadow Lords menu, alongside New Game and Continue, how about we have an Archives tab? That way we can access them at all times.

Also, I dunno why I’d ever want an “erase all progress” button. Seems counter productive to why the archive exists. :kissing:

I want to erase non-archive progress and get a true restart some time. Doing this has to refund your KI gold spent in shadow lords though (even as astral gems would be fine)

I could see the appeal in a total refund/reset for the gameplay aspects of SL much more than for the Archives. That could be a fun way to go through “fresh” without losing the tidbits of information you’ve earned along the way.

I agree with all of these ideas:

  1. Having the archives option in the main Shadow Lords menu (at the main KI menu and not as a part of the mode itself) would be a good way to watch/read things back without needing to go into a new game.
  2. Refunding all KI gold used if you want to restart seems like it shouldn’t be hard to do (even if the refund was as astral gems wouldn’t be too bad but I don’t feel able to pass a proper judgement on that).
  3. Having a way to refund without losing archive progress if you want seems reasonable too so that you can continue collecting even if you don’t run across the same pieces of information.
