Well from this video I can say 3 thins about that are reassuring:
1- While rashes tounge is uncomfortably close to you at least you can have some small bit of space, so long as you’re not cornered.
2- If Fulgore can fire 3 bolts Rash closing in on him would get hit easily.
3- I just remembered that with Cinder one has to only use his pyro-bombs against people who do run away, seeing as the tongue does indeed bring Rash closer, Cinder is in a more comfy range. ’
In conclusion, you’ve convinced me that there’s a way to set up that Rash’s tongue attack will indeed be a pain in the ■■■, but at least it’s not as OP as it seemed like on paper.
Yeah, it’s a pain in the ■■■ for a zoner, but then again, it’s kind of supposed to be, ya know? It’s meant to be an anti-zoning move. But again, if he wants to just sit there and mash it, there are ways around it
Well the only really god thing about this is you aren’t locked in hit stun while he’s moving towards you. On the bright side if a player does this, I can just do what I did when Thunder had COS. Be unmerciful and mean as hell by hitting Rash as he comes in.
