What’s this now? I assume it’s a new BattleToads? or a new BanjoKazooie? is it even a game franchise from Rare?

I wouldn’t think so, since when I hear to term “game” I assume it’s a completely different one as opposed to just content.

The game is clearly Phantom Dust. Isgreen has been talking about it very often on twitter for the past few months, it seems to be his current game development project, and it fits the description of a “returning game”.

“regarding a game people are excited is returning.” This implies it’s a game people already know about. Phantom dust for example.
If it was an unannounced game Adam would have worded it more along the lines of “regarding a game that people will be excited to hear is returning.”
well I’ve never really played Phantom Dust, actually didn’t hear of it till now. What is it about really?

Considering that game appeared 90 percent of the time on Sony consoles, I doubt we’d ever get one that wasn’t on the PS4 if we ever did at all.
