I was one of the guys arguing in the early DH forumns that we should keep pre release KI mike as the announcer but everyone wanted him to sound like the classic announcer. I knew in the end it would only result in two similar sounds instead of two distinct sounds. Shame, he sounded really hype before release.
You know who would make a good announcer? Omens voice actor. If they do make alternate announcers each one should have unique dialogue.
