I have some thoughts on Jago which I’ll try to post in the Jago 3.4 thread soon. I think Riptor and Mira have to be in the conversation for top 5.

I probably did say that Omen is “maybe the best character” this patch or something, but I’m not comfortable saying definitively he’s #1 yet. But I do think he is very very strong.

Yeah, I think Jago isn’t so much the king of plus frames per se, as much as he’s the king of making you regret when you try to take your turn back. For whatever reason, even though a Riptor or Wulf frame trap into combo is probably objectively better, the sheer menace of Jago negative frames->DP makes people terrified to push buttons against him. Sure, I’ll hold this medium wind kick and then get thrown - I don’t want to catch a DP in the face for trying to apply pressure. Sure, I’ll backdash after I block a medium wind kick - I don’t want to play your silly DP or throw game. Sure, I’ll let you backdash after I block your medium wind kick - I’m just waiting to try and punish your yolo uppercut at negative frames.
Jago’s frame data isn’t fantastic (at least not compared to Riptor or Wulf), but he’s got the ultimate NO button for punishing people who are trying to apply pressure to him. He feels a lot more safe on his pressure than he is, because DP is such a live threat anytime you’re standing next to him.
