He was Megatron am I right?

I really loved his performance in Transformersā€™ prime.

Yeah, he was Megatron in TF Prime. In the original Transformers cartoon he did the voices for most of the Decepticons and several Autobots as well:
Megatron, Thundercracker, Skywarp, Soundwave & his minions (Rumble, Frenzy, Ravage, Laserbeak, Buzzsaw), and then Trailbreaker & Mirage for the Autobots.

Not to say there isnā€™t a lot of other voice actors with just as impressive resumes, but if you grew up in the 80ā€™s or 90ā€™s, this guy is pretty much the voice of your childhood.

When you think about it, voice acting is acting boiled down to its purest form. Much like ancient Greek drama, a voice actor has to convey emotion without being able to show their face at all. It takes a lot of raw talent to convey the expression of a character you canā€™t visually represent yourself.

Itā€™s not about looks, itā€™s not about sex appeal (most of the time, anyway. There are some damn sexy voices out there), you canā€™t even use body language. Itā€™s all about your voice and how well you use it. Iā€™ve got a mad respect for that.
