Why the hell can Fulgore still pip cancel

That sounds like a bug. I’d report it of I were you. Get some footage and make sure the devs see it.
Unless he was in Instinct. Then he doesn’t have to pay for pips.
Im pretty sure he wasnt in instinct because he had half full meter and all of them were locked out because I was in instinct and locked him out. Everytime he did an unsafe move, I blocked and he pip cancel DPd out of it like 3 times in a row super YOLO
Video, please. Looking at the replay and putting kg where the devs can see it to do something about it is much more helpful than word of mouth.
It’d also helpful do some testing to see if we can recreate it.
Edit: I’ve been doing some testing and it seems like Fulgore can’t pip cancel during Omen’s lock out even when he is in instinct. Which is weird because the pips are supposed to be free? Or does he need access to at least one pip to do the cancels? Because I found that all he needed one pip available to pip cancel. I guess that means that each pip can be spent infinite times during instinct, rather than the pip cancels being completely free.

Fulgore doesn’t necessarily need pips to DP you for trying to check him when he’s negative. Blade dash (blocked)->DP is like wind kick->DP - he doesn’t need to cancel anything to append DP’s to negative or certain unsafe moves. As long as he’s not more than -3, he can just DP you for trying to take your turn back without having to spend a pip.
