We haven’t really interacted much on the forums, and other than that I’m just a random who pops up online; I don’t blame you at all for not remembering me.
The speed with which Riptor’s able to change up her pressure makes it tough to fight her sometimes, you were able to get me in some really difficult high-lows and mixed in throws right when I thought I had it figured out.
Oh, there’s no question that you’re the more successful Riptor player to date. I personally prefer Moxy’s playstyle is all.
I think he relies too much on doing unbreakable damage, which means he doesn’t tend to hit hard and misses a lot of opportunities to capitalize on his opponent making mistakes. You also have a better head for when to pull out shenanigans I think, which counts for a lot in the clutch and shows that you understand what your opponent wants to do in any given moment (which is a powerful skill). Moxy has a more patient and neutral game-focused style than you IMO though, which is something that I appreciate and think is stronger long term. Less unsafe approach/pressure options, and less reliance on massive life swings from a read gone right. I also think his defensive adaptations are more consistent - it’s rare to see him get bullied by the same tactic more than once or twice.
Your mileage may vary on any of the above, but that’s how I see your styles. It’s not a knock on you as a player at all - your tournament performance speaks for itself.
LOL, I have that problem at my house with my 4-year-old. I would say the same about @Thunderb3E, but he’s a good player. Still, it’s kinda gotten to where any more any time I try to play something different, one of the kids wants to jump in on the action and then when I’m ready to put it down they want to keep marathoning it for 3 or 4 more hours. That sucks the enjoyment out of whatever it is I’m playing more than anything else.

Of course in all honesty, I wouldn’t trade my kids for anything in the world…it’d just be nice if I had some peace & quiet every now & then.

1st time posting. Been ghosting around these forums for a while rather frequently finally decided to make an account and chime in. Looking for some sets with anyone who will play me. I believe I played a Sadira mirror match with @DarkLrdChuckles last night that was pretty intense lol he beat me 2 - 1 ggs. Would say I’m lower tier killer and will probably be on in a few hours for anyone looking for an opponent.
