It’s a two way street. My main intent for taunting is getting something from my opponent. That can be anything. From recklessness, to a simple jump, to doing nothing.
Put it like this, Normally during a match I don’t really do it (though there is the rare occasion I do). It’s about luring one’s enemy into a trap. Or a false sense of security. Playing with the mind.
I most of the time the only thing I expect from a taunt is an ultra and or TB at the end. Sometime sI get a taunt in return. Sometimes I get nothing.
