I get by without the need for extremely high end combos, because on fightcade I never face people like PikachuAmuka very rarely most of the times I beat people using mainly basic moves.
This is my gameplay style I sometimes upload my KI videos if I record some. As you can see I play more with mind games rather than long combos I win far more SF3 games on fightcade than I ever win in KI
Kara Demon thats SF4? I donât play SF4 because the art disgusts me.
I do raging demon on Akuma in SF3 but I do tricks before I do it to make it look like I am about to do it. I usually do stuff to make myself look unpredictable.
I do KKZ reset very easily in SF3 it comes very natural and easy. There is something special about the movement in SF3, also somehow I manage to be near 100% accurate in uppercuts and fireballs in SF3 than I am in KI.
The dashing in SF3 feels so natural in KI when you dash it feels a bit clunky, in SF3 its very fluid and fast. It truly brings out the fightstick wrist flicking in you and I think its one of the things that really makes SF3 king on fightsticks compared to KI.
^ I see what you are talking about, nah I donât do that.
I do stuff like this video. I donât think I have ever tried the high end stuff in SF3, because I seem to get by winning about 70% of matches doing more basic stuff.
^ So thats about as far as I get with combos in SF3, I never really got into anything more complex than that.
I parry and counter aswell I think learning to parry and counter attack in SF3 is really important. You can really trick your opponent with a parry.
PS I learned to play SF3 on Korean Sticks in the arcades without any gates and if there was it had to have been a circle gate because it took me a long time to learn how to block a low attack, today folks have the option of square gate sticks you can just go on Amazon and order a good stick choose your GATE and connect to the internet and play using GGPO what I would give back in those days for what we have today?. I usually had to settle for whatever the local arcades had outfitted on them sadly.
I would give my left nut for a SF3 HD Remix hand drawn sprites in HD or 4K and wide screen.
BTW OP put it this way, as bad as you feel trying to learn SF3, you have it a trillion times easier. In my time losing meant I had to walk home instead of taking the Taxi after school because losing meant you lost real money each time in the arcades using a terribly difficult to learn Korean Stick with circle gates or no gates.
Sometimes when I beat people in SF3 and Xmen vs Street FIghter, their friends would come and tap my buttons or push me while I was playing so I would lose on purpose. Today you got the benefit of safety over the internet and cost nothing to play AND you can even use a square gate or the stick of your choice.
So think about it that way, what excuse do you have? you got none my friend. This is the best time to play SF3 and its still popular as hell on xbox 360 online and PC fightcade. I mean there is a reason SF3 is played so much on fghtcade. These games stand the test of time these are the games when Art meant something.
Look how ugly and old SF4 looks today, yet SF3 still looks fantastic despite having way lower graphic quality? Thats the beauty of Art SF3 is a timeless masterpiece. EVERYTHING about it screams gold standard
KI also has the best looking stages of any modern Fighting Game. I think this game will also be a timeless masterpiece. MKX stages are very ugly well most of them
