I don’t agree with the whole “Just accept whatever sh#t the developers throw at you” mentality. I don’t have that sort of sheep-mentality, as I like to be critical of what I am offered instead of just gobble up whatever is thrown my way.
I do agree that constantly complaining about it is not the way to go about it though. However, this is a discussion forum and the topic in this thread is Mortal Kombat X… and as one of the things that is very topical about MKX atm, guest characters and whether or not people like them and the reasons of such is only natural to discuss.
If you don’t like it, talk about something else, bring up a new subject, or go someplace else. Complaining about people complaining isn’t the way to go either.
I do get where you’re coming from though. On an MK forum I’m on, there’s this guy whose every post is about how sh#tty he thinks Ed Boon and NRS is, and that is ALL he can talk about, and anyone who disagrees with him are wrong and, as he so colourfully calls them, Ed Boon asslickers… and I’ve been chastising him because of it.
However, though we are some who don’t like guest characters in here, we can have a proper discussion about it AND we can also talk about OTHER things - which we have been throughout this entire thread. So yes, there are some complaining happening, but believe you me that it could be WAY worse.
This is just your opinion.
Thing is, Fujin hasn’t been able to develop as a character, simply because he hasn’t been in alot of games. And yet he has a solid fanbase who love his character and his abilities.
What NRS has shown with MK9 and MKX is that they can take a character and make that character interesting, give him personality and an exciting background. Take Stryker for example… Stryker was probably the most hated MK character of them all before MK9! However, because of what NRS did with Stryker in MK9, suddenly alot of people like him and actually think he is cool.
This jsut shows what NRS is capable of, and they could do this with other characters - such as Fujin! The difference is though, that Fujin already has a good amount of fans, where Stryker was overall hated with a few exceptions. But that will only turn in NRS’ favour as that means there are already a good amount of people who would buy Fujin should he become DLC.
They need the Wendigos from Until Dawn.
They were in MK9’s Krypt mode. They popped up as jumpscares. As playable characters though? Ew, no.

Yeah, he’s like Rashid. Fujin is first appeared before Rashid.
Fujin is the God of Wind. He could spin as a tornado and even hurl tornados at the opponent, pulling the opponent in and throw them up in the air, amongst other things.

@anon39655210 Sheep? Come on now… your being a bit hypocritical… we have an opinion that guests are fine and that Fujin isn’t an exciting character and you call us Sheep. You have an opinion that you don’t like guests and that Leatherface is lame…your no different that us SHEEP. The division between guest characters and cannon characters does not make someone a Sheep.
The game is done, it isn’t changing, either like them or not… its done. Enjoy the game as it is.

I did not say that people who like guest characters are sheep. Read my post again.
I said that accepting everything the devs throw at you and NOt being critical of any of it is a sheep-like mentality.
Which was a direct response to my comment..therefor saying I am Sheeple. No one should complain about any game and say “it needs to be this instead of that” or “They dont know what they are doing, we want this”.
Its art, and they are the painters… you either like it or you dont. It doesnt make anyone sheeple or followers or anything of that matter.. The developers paint the picture, write the song, sculpt the statue how they want…any opinions of there art are just that…opinions.
Just enjoy it for what it is and play the characters you like.

I think we should wait until they release MKX GPPO for March 1? Not beta. When MKXL coming out and we will play KOTH. It will be better than before.

You can’t prove an opinion because your opinion is not factual. Therefor there is no PROOF. Just becasue someone doesn’t complain and criticize everything that crosses their path doesn’t make them blind, brainwashed followers or “sheep” as you like to call us that are positive thinking or just satisfied with the game.

Speaking o f the new net code..it really is great! the game is so much faster too.. its like Hyper speed! I need to play some beta tonight, I havent been playing it much since most of the challenges fro Faction war have been online challenges…so I just been playing regular online and its been pretty good on there lately too… I haven’t had any lagged matches in 2 weeks

Did you end up with a code??? The way ketchup and Mustard play together is they just keep searching until they find each other. they decline every match until they cross paths and then just rematch for the duration.
