Some times ppl hate on things just to have something to say… they are more or less just bored trolls. I didnt play MK( much but I liked all 4 DLC characters…especially Freddy and Scarlett…both were really good… Kratos was cool too!
Leather face is going to be awesome! Jason has been awesome! i dont care for Predator but he is cool…I just dont play well with him.

I’m also a Soul Calibur fan and I dislike guest characters in SC just as much as I do in MK and any other fighting game, unless it’s a Clash game like Street Fighter X Tekken, Tekken Tag, Marvel VS Capcom etc.
I dislike guest characters in SfxTk because it is Street Fighter and Tekken. What does pac man have to anything with those.
Tekken is created by Namco, who also created Pacman. Just like Megaman was created by Capcom who also created Street Fighter.
Not sure who the two cats are or where they’re from, and not sure why Cole from inFamous was in it, but he was actually quite cool.
Anyways, Clash games aren’t meant to be serious fighting games, so I don’t mind guest characters in such games in general, though if a favourite character of mine isn’t in the game, then of course I would rather have that in over some guest character.
Of course that stage fatality is a tentacle monster

I think they will make Soul Calibur 6 because they ask to us about what we want characters return in future SC…

I didn’t think leather face was needed but can’t change it at this point. Hopefully we won’t get any more guest characters fir the future DLC packs. lol.
I doubt there will be more DLC packs.
I ehard it was their plan to add more, but who knows at this point.

After having followed Ed Boon in Twitter for years, I know not to take his teasing seriously. He’s made SO many hints about Fujin and Rain for so long, keeping the hopes high for fans, yet haven’t made them playable or made any sort of confirmation on doing so.
And yeah, the PC fans sadly got screwed over.
Well hopefully we will see Rain 9whom I’m hoping for) Fujin and Sindel to be playable (one of my niece’s is a huge fan of hers)
I would love it if they made the NPC’s in MKX playable some time, but seriously, my hope for it has vanished after the announcement of KP2.

But guests are fit into SC series.. Guest in fighting games for fun. Not seriously. I was young and play Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. When I play UMK3 and then make me wish Alien or Predator join UMK3 because of Clayfighter and Soul Caliber had guests. Now, I’m very glad for they put Predator in MKX. I knew it! I saw Alien out from Baraka’s chest in KP2’s trailer and I was very excited about Alien! But I don’t care about Leatherface.. He’s like meh… So, I believe they reveal Story Pack for Fujin, Baraka, Sindel and Stryker. I have no interesting Sareena because her design and backstory are boring to me. You know it’s my opinion. But I still don’t care about her. Hey, I have question for you. I like Alien and Predator, that’s mean I am not real MK fan? I’m fake fan?
My main beef with guest characters in certain fighting games is when other characters from the franchise is left out. That isn’t the case with Soul Calibur though, luckily, so guest characters in those games aren’t that big a deal as they are just extra.
However, with Mortal Kombat X, there are SO MANY MK characters people would want to see be in the game, but instead we get all these needless guest characters.
Fujin, Rain, Havik, Reiko, Jade, Sareena, Sindel, Baraka etc etc etc… All these characters are some that the fans want in the game, but for some reason NRS won’t put them in, but instead fills the roster up with guest characters. I don’t think that’s okay.
I don’t really feel it’s a problem with Killer Instinct either, to have Rash and Arbiter in the game, simply because all the KI characters in the franchise will be in the game eventually. Gargos is the obvious boss of Season 3, we kinda have confirmation that Tusk will return as well - the only character IG has said won’t return is Eyedol for reasons of their own. So the guest characters in KI aren’t taking up roster space that could be filled with KI characters, as the KI characters are coming!
Also, last thing is, I have yet to play a guest character in a fighting game that I actually thought was good or fun to play as. Cole in SFxT was alright, but he wasn’t the one I played as.
