How to make it better (From a Street Fighter player's perspective)

That wouldn’t work well in this KI…both of the first 2 played under the idea that when you were down you weren’t necessarily out, and with a slight final boost you could turn the tides and snatch victory out of the jaws of defeat. It’s essentially giving a defeated player a second chance for no real good reason…It was a bit worse in KI1 though where you were left staggered ala MK and button mashing would wake you up with a huge damage boost and only 1 hit worth of life left. You could essentially consider it rewarding bad play. Same goes for KI2…for the Ultra Breakers you already lost the match, but if you hit the right button combo at the end and have a full super meter(I believe), you get a do-over. That doesn’t reward good play.

I’m generally against the idea of ultra breakers, at least any form of them that could allow the losing player to regain some life. You’ve lost at that point - while you shouldn’t necessarily have to watch 2.5 minutes of a quadruple ultra, neither should you get a do-over in the match. That’s my take on it anyway.

Eh…it happens sometimes, and there’s only so much credit I’m willing to give someone for insta-breaking me 4 or 5 times in a row. People like that generally get creamed in a second or third match, because that level of correct reads (guessing) just isn’t generally sustainable over a long period of time. There’s being good at the combo game and getting lucky, and KI does indeed have both. The game’s long-term stability doesn’t come from removing “getting lucky” as an option, but from punishing “getting lucky” so heavily if a mistake gets made.

My point is, you could have stopped them from breaking you any of those 3 times, but you chose not to, and your opponent took advantage of it. You could say it’s “lucky” or “unlucky,” but ultimately what’s happening is your opponent is making a risky but correct decision. I don’t think that risky plays based on guesses are inherently based on luck. But maybe we just approach the definition of “lucky” differently.

Well thats just your opinion - mine is different.

You think you are right and i think my view is right.

There is no what ultimately is happening - there is only in your opinion this and this is happening.

I dont claim to be right in general for everyone - i think i am right from my experience and only for me and you think you are right from your experience

And i dont complain - ki can stay how it is - i dont want it to be changed. If i would complain - i would say that should be changed but it shouldnt.

I accepted the direction of KI long ago and i accept your opinion is different.
