I think I have to rename again to “beginner Hisako tips for advanced KI players”. I thought just knowing your own character’s strengths and weaknesses was enough, but I had absolutely no idea about what TJ could do. Reset monster.

I have been looking into the question from Storm about shadow air ORZ but I haven’t found anything in any of the vids I have been watching that’s not mentioned already in that thread.
I’m going to vote against that - we don’t really want to turn a beginner away from this advice, as it’s not particularly difficult to apply.

My Hisako is decent - but STORM’s… take my Hisako, wrap it up in a shroud of cloth woven from pure awesome, then shoot it out of an awesome cannon filled with confetti and money and cheeseburgers - and that’s how awesome STORM’s Hisako is.

Don’t worry, I will interview Ogty next time and have him confess about shadow air ORZ and other Hisako tech. Hopefully BEFORE Evo begins, lol.

Hey just saying hi since I got some emails regarding this thread. That matchup against HKsmash caught me by surprise. S3 TJ is very strong and his normals definately are def + and hard to read I kept getting punished trying to push buttons on block. Also I feel my instinct game should be more divers especially wehn exactly to use it. Not using command grabs too often either and I lack general knowledge of more and more characters it feels. Anyways if anyone need some tips let me know.
Dunno about tips, but I’d love to play you sometime. My Sako is pretty different from yours, so could both probably learn some new stuff, even if you wreck me 
I think her instinct is good to use on defense - the chance to react to any button for full combo (or 3 frame command grab if they’re in neutral) is just too good to wait for the juicy confirm. If Hisako doesn’t get two instincts in a match, then I think a pretty significant opportunity was missed. That’s my take on it anyway.
