Well, fact is, he isn’t mentioned any place in the lore of the new game what so ever. If he was important, he would have a prominent role, like ARIA and Gargos (who is heavily hinted to be the next big bad of Season 3).
So yeah, I say Eyedol isn’t important, based on facts, not opinions.

I’d suggest that everyone try to express themselves with a bit more respect for the other forum members, which includes the developers.
We have no problem with criticism. We do have a problem with trolling and insults, though.
