I’m going further.
I’m going to predict “archetypes” according the season 1 & 2 tendencies.
1- Male “good alignment” poster guy, maybe with some conflict: Jago-TJ-Tusk
2- Female “good alignment” poster girl: Maya-Orchid-Kim Wu
3- Beast character: Sabrewulf-Riptor-New character
4- Elemental user,maybe alien/alien influence: Glacius-Cinder-New character
5- Big, intimidating character: Thunder-Aganos-Eyedol
6- Good mobility character with good mix ups, first new character of each season, maybe evil?: Sadira-Kan-Ra-New character
7- Undead, creepy character: Spinal-Hisako-New character(vampire!)
8- Shadow energy character: Shago-Omen-Gargos
9- Ultratech member, cibernetic: Fulgore-ARIA-New character
Guest characters are harder to fit there.

Bayonetta would be a good fit for a quest character, IMO.
Conker, I think Conker would be amazing in KI.

I don’t think we’ll see Eyedol, if anyone get’s left behind, it’ll be him. And I honestly wouldn’t care. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think many people would.
I, at least, prefer Eyedol before everybody but Fulgore, Spinal and Gargos

I’m really hoping that the guest characters will be their own separate entity. Like we get 9 KI characters and then two or three separate guests. If not, then yeah, the above works for me.
Same here. It’s on my mind a lot.
There’s so many great potential character types, just having two would be disappointing for me. After the returning characters I want to see something new. Then the guests would be a bonus on top.
I hope we get some insight into season 3’s gameplan soon.

- A guest character from Fist of the Northstar, Raoh (he is sort of relentless) or his brother Jagi (as he is insane). Not so much Kenshiro is too much like Jago in a sense, but I would still flip out. Or Mamiya as a true Trap grappler (Lol)
New characters I wish for - either as guests or strongly influenced by these:
- Ash from Evil Dead
- Gabriel Belmont as my vampire
- A new Character using a whip, or maybe guest characters like a character from Castlevania or Ivy
- Too bad MKX beat us to it. But I had hoped for Alien.
Or if they really, really want to go 80’s, I suggest:
“my body is ready”
