I’ve been waiting for a sale to buy the PC version of Killer Instinct as many of you know, but a different option presented itself this weekend and I went for it.
Long story short, I was toying with the idea of picking up an Xbox One S console between Black Friday and this upcoming holiday, as when guests come over gaming in my home office where my PC is located is rather awkward. I also miss gaming in my family room chilling on my couch.
This weekend, I saw Microsoft had an Xbox One X Limited Edition White console with a free second Controller on sale, and I went for it. Basically it was $200.00 off the normal price, and only $25.00 cheaper than the same Xbox One S bundle!
At the same time, I purchased the Ultimate Game Pass, which is also on a promo right now of $2.00 for the first two months.
So I now have Killer Instinct: Definitive Edition on PC, and shortly will have an Xbox One X to enjoy the Play Anywhere feature on that as well.
