Vampirism Dossier

So the Vampirism Dossier is puzzling me… Or rather, eluding me. Which is a bummer, since it’s the last World Dossier I need.

I know I’ve faced at least one opponent with this trait. In fact, I’ve made multiple runs with Mira to try and get it, since there’s an opponent who’s guaranteed to have it. And yet I have nothing.

I will say that I’ve never encountered a Vampiric opponent “in the Wild”, i.e. as a mimic. Perhaps I need to pump up the difficulty?

Anyone have this dossier yet? If so, do you remember how you got it and what difficulty you were playing on?

That can’t. Be right. I’ve ran across mimic mira a ton of times and I never play on anything higher than normal so far.

No, the “Vampirism” trait on mimics. It is present in Mira’s story when playing AS Mira, but I’ve yet to see it on a Mimic of any kind.

I’m only missing that one and Bastion. No idea where to find them.

I have Bastion but not Vampirism. I’m willing to believe it’s just nowhere to be found in the beta.

@SirRadG You can get Bastion from the Deal with the Devil quest. One of the rooms has a chance of spawning a Bastion Aganos.

@SonicDolphin117 I’m starting to tho k you may be right. Still weird that I still haven’t gotten it after fighting the only opponent I’ve found with Vampirism multiple times.

Actually, for me it was a Bastion Jag-

Wait, where did you find enemies with Vampirism?

Thanks!

Do you need a certain character on your team for it to show up? I don’t recall seeing it.

Mira’s story.

There’s a quest that I think only happens if Mira is a side character called Írma where you fight Maya. At the end of the quest, you’re given the option to bite her, turning her into a vampire and raising Global Corruption. Later you’ll find a mission called Vampire Queen where you find Maya absolutely drunk off her newfound power. She has the Vampirism trait (basically Heart of Gargos and/or the Vampire Bat: Health Regen on hit) in this fight.

She actually becomes a vampire if you choose that option? Holy s*** that’s dark.

Oh, and the best part?

After the Vampire Queen Mission, you are given 2 options…
Return Maya to her old self and have her join the team… Or kill her, and take Temperance and Vengeance as a power up.

I’m currently experimenting to see if skipping the second part of this quest results in more ghoulies. If so… awesome.

Holy crap that sounds cool

I just did the Vampirism questline, and have said reward in my storage, but it didn’t unlock in the archives. Weird.

I also got the Deal with the Devil quest to appear after doing one of the temple being attacked missions, and choosing the release the cultists option, but haven’t faced an enemy with Bastion. Is that random, or do you have to make specific choices?

I’m unsure whether the Bastion is random or not. I think it’s confined to a certain room, and that you may need to pick that room while your character has a unique option for a different one.
Or it could just be RNG ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Same here, never gotten those two.
