can someone tell me when a shadow moves can be broken? cuz all the time bot breaks my motion, since I can not: I

Shadow moves can always be broken, but you need to time the rhythm of the hits properly. The AI is kinda cheap, so it’ll always break your moves successfully.

If you can, try breaking Shadow moves against TJ Combo in Combo Breaker Training; he has some of the easiest ones!

@Infilament’s guide has amazing features and information on this subject - head to http://ki.infil.net and check it out! He even has an in-browser tool to help you rehearse the breaks. It’s so, so good.

ic,tnks for reply =)

Actually, not quite! When a shadow move is used as an opener, it can’t be broken. This is a very important thing to realize.

So yeah, to the OP, if the shadow move was the FIRST special move used in the combo, it can’t be broken. Otherwise, assuming it’s not an ender, it can.

Shadow Linkers are breakable. Shadow openers and enders cannot.

One way to know for sure is turning on the “Display Combo State” to “All” from “Practice Options” when you’re in the lab. Whenever you see a shadow move display 5 gray bars with a star, kick, and punch symbol, those are breakable. This is also a great way other than the sound of the hits to to train breaking shadow moves.

ok,i will check,tnks too =)

Ah, yes, you’re right. Forgot to even think about that. Guess it’s second nature to me to not break opener shadow moves!

As it’s been said, check out Infil’s Guide, specifically this link:
