Season 4 could be better with the rig models posed
better would have loved the CGI models in this fashion better than the current ones!

If they were my ms team there’d be a few harsh words used.
I do agree tho the cutscenes current in game are just re purposed assets which annoys me.
I actually think the story mode from s2 might be better and longer than SL.
I just don’t know why they don’t use proper scenes. The character all have rigs and can animate properly.

Original animations were the thing I liked most from the S1 story mode. Felt more cinematic in nature instead of watching animations I’ve seen hundreds of times just used differently

Low budget cuts are the main cause of it. It would take too much money to do a proper story mode like MKX, let alone proper scenes, unless by some miracle, someone would do a donation to make that possible.
Nah I dont want a full cinematic mode. I would just like proper in game used cut scenes.
I mean s2 had an opener, rival and end scene but again using re used assets.
We know they are small budget but MS’s fault. If they actually pushed it like their other Franchises they might get somewhere.
I mean their own art team is making better stills. The hair on them is much better and Kim actually looks like a teenager lol

They are.on Google.
Recently, PC users were able to extract the rigs from KI so they are poseable for the tech savvy designers.
I didn’t make these I just found the images on google while I was looking for orchids first season 1 thumbnail hard face
The models are on the Source Filmmaker workshop last time I checked.

IG just needs more money. Then they can get FMV for their cutscenes.
