As of late I’ve set my mind to unlocking some of those awesome Shadow Skins and I figured I’d jump on here and share some of the frustrations and oddities I’ve come across during my quest for Shadow Points.

Firstly (and this is my only broad observation) I feel like the price is a little high on the SP side. If the community were a little more active in Shadow Labs and my Shadows wee bringing in SP while I’m away I could see the justification in 75,000 SP price points. But I’m lucky if my shadows see 2 fights in a week. Earning SP seems tough on its own, the high prices just feel like a double slight.

Second, listing your shadow’s Shadow Lord losses on the bounty screen is a huge time waster. Right now I’ve got 5 pages of bounties generated in Shadow Lords with no value that I can’t take on or remove, so it takes me 45 seconds to get to the bounties I can accept, which leads to my third frustration.

Three, Error: Shadow Not Found. While scraping for SP this message has become the bane of my existence. The real clincher here is that it couples with my second point. Every time this error occurs I’m sent to the top of my bounty list, so I get to spend another minute scrolling through my bounties, and hoping it doesn’t happen again. It happens again, a lot, I’ve easily spent 5 minutes trying to find an acceptable bounty. I’m not sure why these, our the Shadow Lord losses, show up on the list, it’s just a frustrating loop.

Fourth, what is a Shadow Mission, and where do I find them? The idea of earning 750 SP a day in Shadow Lords is very enticing. However, I’ve played through Shadow Lords dozens of times now and I’ve never encountered a Shadow Mission.

Fifth, and this one falls into the oddity category. It’s super weird that Shadow Omen’s wings aren’t the same color as the rest of his body.

Sixth, it’d be really nice if, when customizing your shadow, they actually appeared on screen as the Shadow Skin, instead of the character’s default Color 1. I’m a bit of a color junkie, so it’s be nice if I could really see what other people see when they’re fighting my shadow, and I will totally color coordinate those accessories.

Hopefully you folks consider this constructive criticism. You’ve got a great game, I’ve been fully invested since season 1 and I just want it to keep being great. Keep up the good work, and I can’t wait to see what you guys bring to the game next!

I can tell you that the prices seem a little steep when you are first trying to unlock them but getting shadow points is much easier than it seems. The best way to get shadow points is to challenge a friends shadow and constantly fight back and forth, this will not only increase your SP but will improve your shadows performance against a certain character.

The shadow missions in shadow lords can be identified by a certain logo or their name usually something like Shadow: Rogue. They can only be done if you’ve already finished the quest for it which usually spawns randomly. These missions tend to also give a lot of SP and the challenges for doing them will add up as well. Another way is to use the daily challenges that give either 10k SP or 100 or so KI gold and save up that way.

You can also search the shadows ranking for 1000pt shadows. Most are not that difficult to beat and you can farm them once a day.

Better yet, just do Shadow survival and start on the 1000sp tier. It costs…I’m wanting to say 200 SP… and you win 500 per match. If you’re good enough, one match will make back more than double your investment and every subsequent match is just icing on the cake. It’s easy to rack up 10,000 or more SP in just a few playthroughs. And unlike challenging individual shadows, you can keep doing survival over & over so long as you have that initial 200 SP.

If you think unlocking shadow skins is a pain, then you want to stay away from unlocking mimmic skins.

Another tip. The 1000 point Jagos will wake up DP 90% of the time. This can make for some quick points. :slight_smile:

@developers is there anyway to address the lingering bounties from shadow lords in our bounties list?
