Those are her shotgun buttons. Her grenades are projectiles. Riptor’s flame breath itself is a character projectile, not quite the same as the grenades.

What is the reasoning about grenades being a projectile?

They are. They have green hitboxes, projectile invincible moves bypass them. Those things, there’s something else or two, but it escapes me right now. Since they became breakable the grenades have become wonky to use and end up whiffing more often then not.

That’s more a function of the hitboxes themselves than whether or not they’re projrctjles. Unbreakable Aria grenade juggles were among the most degenerate things in the game - it makes for a considerably more interesting game on both sides to have them be breakable. She doesn’t get guaranteed HKD’s and bonus PD to lead into her next vortex setup, and actually has a credible incentive to mix up her juggle options now.

Well because maya doesn’t throw the daggers. So they become normals instead.

The Cinder thing isn’t that good if you don’t cash it out. You have to spend virtually all your instinct and at least 1 meter (and probably 2) on shadow bombs to keep it going. The timing is actually quite hard, as well… people who just see it on their screen and haven’t tried it themselves should probably give it a try and see how many loops you can get. It’s not suuuuper hard but it’s gonna take you an hour of practice before you can reliably get 5 pyrobombs between each shadow pyrobomb.

If you don’t cash it out, the whole thing does like 20-25% damage. For 2 bars and instinct, that’s pretty weak for sure.
