Do you play Glacius as well? I did not know that. I honestly think Glacius will not get the re work, due to him having a solid zoning game. If anything, I’ve been hearing buffs for the Space Alien.
Glacius getting a rework over Maya or Cinder would make me quit the game. I’m sure I’m not the only one
Now, what if the rework makes him TONS better than he is now?
I’m curious - where did this whole rumor that it’s going to be Glacius that gets the rework come from? Where’s the evidence to support that theory? Personally, I think someone’s just speaking through their butt and people are eating it up.

I honestly don’t know, it’s not even set in stone yet…Heck, Jago could get the rework or Aganos or somebody else. We honestly have no idea, so while it’s good to speculate, I’d wait for the actual confirmation, then comment on that.

Remember when someone said that they knew that “Gargos” was in Season 2 with no definitive proof on the old forums based on the fact that said person had a friend in IG, who worked in Austin (or something like that).
I’ll reference what I said there. Believe half of what you see and nothing of what your hear.

people come and go from every game, its normal. that said, dont believe anything you hear until we get official confirmation from IG devs or MS.

I’ll believe it went I see it with my own eyes. Still say it’s 2 of the s2 cast that getting reworked. S1 cast is probably getting a touch up
I said back in December 2014, in the old forums that Gargos will be the last S3 character. Way before any S3 announcement and look now; they’ve both been pretty much confirmed.
Could have sworn it was said as Season 2 and not Season 3. Having the old forums for clarity on this would be helpful because I wouldn’t have said this if I didn’t see it the way I did when I posted. Not trying to be a jerk, but I like to be politically correct when I make these posts.

Its ok. But yeah, another source (S3 tester) told me about Glacius being one of the reworks. It makes sense now. Glacius hasn’t had bug fixes in like almost a year even though I’ve made videos on how to replicate them 100% everytime. So why fix something on someone who is going to get reworked anyways? He’s only received frame data tweaks but that seems like it has been forever since then as well.
Someone needs to define “rework” for me. Some slight move properties have changed (ie, frame data)? A character gets a new move, which lets him play a little differently if he chooses (for example, Liquidize from S1 to S2), but still can use his old moves to mostly the same effect? The character’s primary gameplan has been fundamentally altered via tool additions/deletions, meaning a large percentage of what you used to do with the character is no longer possible (ie, Fulgore at S1’s end compared to Fulgore at S2’s end)? Which of these applies to this supposed Glacius rework?
Also, what Glacius bugs are still not fixed with the character, aside from that one thing where you can’t connect one of his standing normals after a particular linker (and you can just use a different normal of the same strength instead)?
Lots of stuff. Shadow shatter gets blocked after a cr lp manual, can’t activate a counter breaker until after the 5th hit from shadow cold shoulder after a wall splat ender, hold med hail> ice lance> hail hits> ice lance into shatter ender doesn’t cash out , etc.
We’ll see.

I love Killer Instinct. I loved KI S1 (wich had its issues) and i like KI S2. But i see that a lot of players left.
If you think KI is doing fine then good - its your opinion.
My opinion is that mkx did fine, umvc did fine and sfiv did it perfect (i dont like sfiv btw). Mkx had big sales and a nrs typical fgc, umvc had big sales and a big fgc wich is dying due to the lack of updates to the game, sfiv and its iterations sold well and is still the biggest competetive fighter.
Ki had ? Sales and a extremely small competetive scene.
Its just my viewpoint - not a fan blinded opinion cause if that would be the case than KI would on top of my viewpoint.
I critisize and complain cause i care about ki and i love the franchise. I dont post anywhere about mkx, mvc or sfiv cause i dont care nearly as much about those.
How a game does (in terms of sales and gaming population) is NOT an opinion - those are verifiable FACTS. Whether we, as the general public community, may actually know those facts, however, is subjective to the developers/publishers decision to make that information public (although we could hazard a guess, I’m sure - I think that’s where the opinion aspect comes in; based upon what you do know, you can form an opinion on how you think the game is doing).
That being said, IMO, I think Killer Instinct is doing fine. Sure, it may not be as popular as other FGs, but it’s slowly growing in its own popularity over time. It’s still consistently among the top free-to-play games on Xbox Live after all - I know, because I check almost every week.
Also, just because you’re a fan doesn’t mean that your viewpoint is going to automatically be a blind opinion (opinions are subjective anyways, whether or not they’re true, false, or even logical - so the whole point is really moot). After all, you said it yourself - you care about KI and love the franchise. Doesn’t that make you a fan? Doesn’t that mean, by your own admission, that your own opinions are blind?

I think alot of us figured Gargos was gonna come back with the number of things we’ve been seeing since season1. To be honest, all any of us were doing was guessing but ■■■■ was that a good guess.

For what it has right now, KI is doing ok and it can get even better once the audience is expanded with a PC release. KI isn’t doing as well as other fighters by comparison because KI hasn’t had a game since KI2 until now. Not only that but the silly little spit-spat among all console fanboys is pretty silly to and blinded people to being more open minded, lol.
KI is still growing, the only reason other fighters are doing “better” is simply because of name recognition. Street Fighter is famous for it’s own thing, UMVC3 as well (even though I dispise that game) and MKX has never skipped a beat when it came to a game, almost every few years or so in fact so those games have had that luxury compared to KI.
If things go well for season3 KI will be ready. It’s small right now but it has the potential to grow even larger.
