So, in Ranked, you get placed into a league of 4 tiers, with sub-titles in each.
To go up a league (In my case, Gold to Killer), do I need to go through each title of Gold, get to the last title (Ultra or Supreme?) and then I get leveled to Killer, or once I get the 1,000 points do I instantly become a Killer rank. I’m hoping it’s the latter, as I’m the second lowest Gold rank (Master).
Once you’ve won consistently enough to get your full 1000 points per tier (and get to the end of the last category) your next match will be your Promotion Match. Here, you are paired with a player of equal or greater rank (i.e. if you’re in Silver, the opponent will be Silver or higher).
If you win the bout, you will be promoted to the next tier.
If you lose, you will be set back 150 points and remain in your current tier.
Also note, you get more or less points depending on your opponent’s rank relative to yours.

The ranks are set at about 200 points each. You have to go through them before you can get to the next Rank.
You get to 1000 points and then play a promotion match to go up to the next tier, losing the promotion match drops you down by about 150 points so its not quite as straightforward as just getting to 1000.
