Playing KI again after a long time

I’ve been busy with alot of other stuff, IRL and such, so haven’t had time to play alot of… well, anything.

But I felt like playing KI again after a long time. Picked up Tusk and just started playing some Survival, to get the feel back. And it feels good.

Haven’t really played KI since RAAM, mostly because I was so disappointed in seeing him in the game. Only tried the following S3 character as they came out, but I just hadn’t felt like playing the game.

I’m actually looking forward to Shadow Lords mode now. ^^

Just wanted to share this with you guys. Nothing important or anything.
I could ask if anyone else have felt like this, not wanting to or just haven’t had time to play KI, and then returning to it?

I guess it’s just natural, if you play something excessively, you grow tired of it and need to take a break.

Tusk is still awesome though. Even if I am more used to fast and agile characters, Tusk just feels good and fun to play as. I would get crushed if I went online though. XD

Well, this is a nice change of pace. A welcome back post rather than a going away post.
I can live with that.
I also definitely agree about Tusk. He’s nothing but satisfying to play. He’s a fatty, but he hits like a run away ice cream van. Nothing quite like taking a life bar with nothing more than a few Down HP’s.
Also the beard. And the tartan. And the swolness.
Only wish he had the full kilt and a Black Metal set. He’d be literally perfect.

If you ever feel like having a casual/fun set or two just let me know via PM and I’m sure we can arrange it.

Glad to have you back.

Even I’m warming up to Tusk a little bit (pun intended). I must’ve leveled him up a good 3-5x this week.

Yeah, I feel you man. A lengthy break is incredibly necessary after you’ve been playing for too long. Not too long ago I decided to just take some time off and enjoy some single-player games like Uncharted, Fallout, and Resident Evil 4.

It felt nice just to get away after playing for so long. Even Shadow Lords can be a nice break from online and competing.

Lately I’ve been indulging myself in Sheltered, Ark and Binding of Issac. Nothing against KI, I love the game despite some new gimmicks and mechanics I can’t properly adjust to. But, I get it, sometimes a break helps.

Once I wrap up my Pro League matches, I’ll take another lengthy break from KI.

Too much of anything is bad for you.

I’ve been playing a lot of Rocket League, Terraria, Minecraft: XB1E, World of Tanks, and Halo 5 in addition to KI, as well as some newer games that I picked up recently like the Bioshock Collection, Pac-Man Championship DX+ 2, Mahjong, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, and Assassin’s Creed: Chronicles.

If anyone wants to take a brief respite from KI, they can join me for the multiplayer modes for any of those games, so feel free to hit me up!

P.S. - my Xbox Live club, The Angry Panda Club could stand to gain a few new members. :kissing_heart:

Definitely. I’m going through an “In” period for KI right now, but I know I’ll be taking a pretty lengthy break once I get to test out Skyrim mods on console. :stuck_out_tongue: By then I’m sure I’ll be pretty burned out.

? Who are you again? Sorry I have a very bad memory. And I don’t remember people very well either.

We haven’t interacted much and I haven’t been all that active on here, so I don’t expect anyone to know. Been around since the announcement of KI and been lurking around since the first forum, contributing now and then, but otherwise not all that active. So it’s understandable.
