Im using it myself and i havent encountered a single problem with it.
If you want, you could download DS4Windows, which is an open source fork from the same codebase as InputMapper. FWIW, though, I’ve been using InputMapper and it’s pretty good. Has ads in the configuration, though.

you will have to map the gamepad yourself though.
