Why is there a max level for your character and your account if you keep gaining experience? I personally would not be against it if the levelcaps were removed entirely. I probably have reached lvl50 a couple of times over with my main.
What do you think?

I like that there’s a level cap, because once you get there, it can give you a sense of “finally, I made it!” However, I have always liked the idea of the devs increasing it periodically over time as new content (such as colors, player cards, and costumes) are added, kind of like World of Warcraft - when it 1st released, I believe the level cap was only 20. Now, it’s much, much higher (60+ if I recall correctly) due to how much the game has grown.

I think it would be cool if they made it so experience you earn that doesn’t go towards your characters level could somehow contribute to something else. I’m not sure what that would be (heck, maybe it could convert to a very small amount of KI gold) but I’m just spit-balling here.

I was just busy typing a similar suggesion. I thought about the paragorn points in Diablo 3. If you’re not familar, they keep on counting as if actual levels but paragorn points instead. It would be nice to dislay that on an opponents fight card so you kind of get a better impression of how much experience they have with the game/character as there can be huge difference between two players who have maxed out their levels.

Completely agree on Player XP. Character XP is fine at 50 until we get more accessories. But totally agree on Player XP…just like MKX it should never stop.
