How about a quit option during mAtches so one doesn’t have to sit through ultras? Something akin to mkx
You already don’t have to - the devs have gone on record saying that the game already allows you to quit during an ultra without penalty. 
To do this you have to jump out to the home screen and “quit” KI, then wait while it reopens. This is a workaround that doesn’t punish your rank, not an actual way to quit the match.
While not an ideal solution, it’s still a solution.
I guess if it doesn’t punish rank that’s okay? I’ve come to terms with the loss. let me just move on to the next match. I don’t want to have to quit and wait for my game to get ready to start back up again (rapidly pressing on the thumbnail) to get into another match.
