Kim Wu's New Face

Well, he just explained why…

Did someone really just try use an NRS game as some standard of how to do a female face well? Guess I really have seen it all…

And the only one of those other games’ women who is recognizably Asian is Faith. Ada and Yuna are both more of the generic “pretty videogame game girl” aesthetic. I’ll take Kim Wu any day over that overdone and bland trope.

But either way, I’m amazed this (still stupid) topic is going on…Kim isn’t your K-pop model and isn’t going to be - get over it.

So update.

I talked to that girl that looks A LOT like Kim in my college class.

She has someone already. :sob:

And her dude is very jealous. I’m not about to get Ultra comboed. Lol

very smart, no one needs an Endokuken to the face

Off topic:
Unless you’re one of the KI characters. In just about every trailer jago tries to endokuken them, they avoid it and beat the crap out of him. I mean don’t get me wrong, if I could shoot fireballs out of my fist that’s all I’d ever do but at some point you’d think he’d have learned his lesson.

Humans are slow learners.

If only the creators would turn to K-Pop, they’d be getting some inspiration for a new Kim Wu.

Kitana and Tanya don’t look bad, and neither does Harley Quinn in I2.

I actually like the short, squat, roundness of Kim’s face. Kind of reminds me of Tania Gunadi (as seen here). If we could make her face a bit closer to that, like with her nose and eyes, I would be more satisfied.

lol, sounds like what happens in the actual game.

K-pop is basically softcore pornography, man. We’ve got enough of that with sadira.

All’s sadira doing is showing off that righteous booty. Can’t blame the woman. Fantastic if I do say so.

Not only NRS but CAPCOM or every other franchise who features asian females. Btw, Im fine with Kim-Wu’s face. She’s korean with chinese. You know what to expect from this mix…

NRS should be the standard. Man…the salt would FLOW.

She’s an American woman you know.

Not a foreign exchange student, nor is she a new emigrant fresh of the plane. I can understand tradition and some cultural values but I doubt someone from the states would keep tabs on the popular fashion trends of another country.

I still think that they should do a “stage relighting” type of project for Season 4 that involves going back and touching up all of the faces and hair for all of the characters.

Some of them don’t need much, if anything. But other characters (such as Kim Wu, in my opinion) could use a little bit of polish in this regard and that’s okay. It’s not a searing indictment of the devs and it’s certainly not to make the chicks hotter or whatever, it’s just to make the game itself look more graphically polished where I personally think it could use a little polish.

I’d expand that to touching up some of the clothing animations, retro outfits, etc, but I’m trying to be somewhat realistic here, as depending on the lighting in certain stages, some characters can look quite a bit off.

that is most likely a given, with improved graphical capability, even from the XBOX S, even better if they wait and release for Project Scorpio… It’ll be 2013 all over again

hmm i don’t think her face should change completely. I think its’ more of the polishing of her features to make it looks like faces drawn from the concept art since they look completely different from each other I think. That and possibly better lighting
