These are not the only fighting games Iā€™ve played, but itā€™s damn near close. I cannot play a Street Fighter game. I donā€™t know what puts me off about it, but I canā€™t. I canā€™t go back to play the MK games before Deception, and I canā€™t justify buying the newer ones since I only like them for the story nowadays.

Guilty Gear is my most recent pickup, and I like it well enough so far that I can justify putting it over SCV. My top 6 is tough to break though for me. Thereā€™s just so many memories of me and my best friend, of 16 years, just spending hours on Tekken 3. Dr. B all the way!!!

Edit: Also, yeah I know I put DOA4 on there. Bring the HATE!

I cannot deny KI a spot in my top ten any longer. Not after witnessing the top competition doing their thing at the World Cup, seeing the season 3 balance changes, the ongoing support and hype among the community members.

What counts for me? The experience and ride has been awesome thus far. Now give me Tusk!..Pleaseā€¦?

Killer Instinct is my favorite fighting game. Definitely my favorite.
It didnā€™t start that way but it has grown on me so much.

Yeah its up there.

Iā€™ve recently had a Renaissance with fighting games because of ki. I spent an hour with the original ki and sf.
This ki Iā€™ve spent a lot more time with than any other game ever. So itā€™s top of my list. I can only imagine a big budget versionot of it.

I have only had the game since like late December but the answer is still a yes. KI has already become my 2nd favorite fighting franchise of all time (MK has been a part of my life since I was like 3/4 so it will always be my #1) but KI is amazing. Its characters, story/lore, music, stages, atmosphere etc. are all top notch and fit my tastes perfectly. I love it lol

I think we need a top 3 or top 5 poll. It has become too easy for KI. Already in so many playersā€™ top 10.

Historically, iā€™d say my fav fighting games (not doin sequels - just franchises) have been:

  1. SF
  2. MK
  3. KI

HOWEVER, from a game perspective in the past 2-5 years, iā€™d say:

  1. KI
  2. MK
  3. SF

since iā€™m not that good and i just play with friends or wife for fun, cool characters is the most important part (cool and quantity). KI has the most diverse cast (i havenā€™t played the anime fighters,so canā€™t compare) and each character is very unique.

SF V looks to have unique characters (ie. Ken/Ryu seem to have major differences now -as opposed to teh same moves with just frame data, and minor changes between them ā€“ sorry, a fireball that moves faster or does extra hits is NOT totally unique from a basic fireball, etc).

Either way, KI cast will always rock, and the netcode makes it awesome. Waiting till I can preorder Season 3ā€¦didnā€™t see it in Xbox.

But also playing MK X and preordered SF V :slightly_smiling:
