How was your first online match with KI 2013?

I picked Jago. I went in to ranked matches without practicing or learning important things, such as how to combo break, I thought his Tiger Fury input was his combo breaker, because I was thinking old school KI. But I did know how to construct combos. My opponent was Glacius and he owned me badly, at the same time I was amazed at how he kicked my butt. All the new features and not knowing how to beat my opponent kind of bummed me. I thought I forgot how to combo break, because I remembered things like auto doubles and linkers from SNES days. But I did studying, practicing, and dojoing and this has been the game I’ve played the most compared to my other games.

I picked Sabrewulf… and got bodied by Acid Glow.

i used free sabredog and beat a gold TJ Combo. All I did was dogdash into high or low then mash. Then I joined Discord and got bodied by Kyoshi.

I don’t remember, seriously that was a long time ago.

Was back shortly after launch in 2013. I picked jago and got completely destroyed by some dude playing with sabrewulf. He talked mad ■■■■ the entire match lol he was was good though.

PC launch, I picked Wulf.
Spammed Medium combos and won xD.

I guess your body wasn’t ready…

I don’t remember who I played against. I picked Sabrewulf and was very impressed by the netcode.

Wulf, and promptly got bodied! Whoa didn’t know" insert" character could do that, instead of playing. Good days.

Just tried online for the first time yesterday as Thunder. Lost all 3 matches hard (first one I was kinda close of winning though).

I still got some work to do to be good.

I was really impresed , i complete the dojo before go online , and my reaction was , it cant be , is like they were rigth here on my side !!! Some times i ask the location of the rival and some times was as far as west coast , im in the caribean .

I also made the mistake of going to online before the dojo or training (this last mode I don’t usually do because I was used to the old Arcade days of get good ASAP or die trying), I used Shadow Jago and barely managed to win my first match, but even if I lose most of the time, is still fun because at least for me I learn a thing or two of my character or the rival character, just remember that winning or losing is NOT THE BIGGEST PRIORITY, having fun is (at least for me) the most important thing when playing any game.
