He gets annoying, help needed!

Even though I always tend to ask about counterpicks I can’t leave my main alone. So I’ll probably keep on working on that. The main issue is when they zone me with minions. And yes, Wulf can be a menace close to him as you said. They usually wake up with the teleport (not smart) or that flying motion in angle (that’s invincible, I don’t remember the name)

I know, but the range is really poor, I need to get there first =(
Tough battle no doubt.

I think you’re talking about medium Reckoning. Keep in mind it only has upper body invulnerability, so you can still meaty it with a low hitting attack. As for the minions, I can only recommend slipping jabs in between portal punches.

I’m more versed in Gargos than Wulf, so I’m sorry I can’t give more tips specific to Wulf. I imagine you could get some mileage out of the diving slash so long as you don’t become too predictable with it. It has a good amount of vertical and horizontal movement that makes it difficult to zone.

That’s a really good thing to know thx!

switching characters isn’t the course of action, this is a balanced game, their are hard matchups yes, but the best thing to do is find a strategy with the character you main… Like someone said earlier, the key to a matchup like Sabrewulf would be to get in and stay in…

I tend to be a character specialist, but frustration is hard to overcome sometimes so I tried different characts (also to check their movements and specials). Anyway, I can’t see myself dropping my Wulf. I don’t care if people say he’s cheap or whatever, I didn’t get an X1 till almost S2. A lot of people drop him in s3. I love playing as the wulf, since always =)

I recently beat a good gargos player with sadira.

I know that feeling of being constantly spammed at with Gargos. Smart players know how to get a Sadira (who happens to be my main), but there is a answer! Maya seems to be really good against a Gargos. If you do her roll jump the teleport punches won’t hit most of the time. As long as he doesn’t do the portal punch where the fist comes out in front of you, you’ll be fine. By the time you get to him, Gargos will still be in recovery from the attack so get a nice combo off of it. I’m sure characters with teleports like Spinal and fulgore have a pretty easy time against Gargos too.
