I myself play it too, but very casual, and havent in a bit because of other games, but it is something I get back to from time to time…
Arent they nearing the end of the support they were supposed to be giving the game though?

I’m actually not so sure, to be honest, I think 343 need to do what they need to do, but I don’t know what they’re gonna do with support.
I heard that player numbers were increasing every month, so maybe it will be like KI and they will keep supporting the game.

That’s a great idea, 343 does pretty much have the rights to the entire franchise after Bungie, so they could keep bringing stuff back from the old Halo games.
Like the Sword Tournament from Reach, but for Halo 5…
Everyone could have a chance getting:
Energy Sword (Uncommon)
Ravening Sliver (Rare)
Vorpal Talon (Ultra Rare)
Prophet’s Bane (Legendary)
Different, or random, Energy swords to every player in the game would be fun, but it all depends on each sword’s rarity.
I haven’t played it much. I used to play Halo games pretty much on a daily basis with my wife & older 2 kids (if it tells you how much I hit Inheritor rank on Reach) but with the lack of split screen co-op it kinda killed interest, as well as switching focus over to KI, as well as having another kid (almost 4) who is still figuring out basic moving mechanics on games, so he’s still a few years off, so if we were all to play right now we would need 2 more XB1s if not 3, as well as TVs, gold accounts and games for all of them, so yeah, the lack of split screen kinda killed it for us.

This exactly, I havent even played past the second level of the story mode, and I havent not finished a Halo game before, but what I enjoyed the most was playing it with a friend or my brother couch co-op.
I wonder how many sales they lost because of no couch co-op…
If the next one doesnt have it, I might not get it at all, a big maybe now anyways since the story has already lost me by not playing the Halo 5 one. And I love me some story in my games…
I hope the scorpio enables split screen…

They kinda do special playlists sometimes that are like that. Fiesta gives everyone random power weapons, then there’s Snipers. Its a neat change from the regular Arena and Warzone modes.

I honestly doubt much. If they had they probably would have made a formal apology for it by now and then tried to patch it in somehow.

Well, I dont know if it stopped you from buying it and you just played less, or didnt but it at all, I assume the former if I remember your post correctly, I think there is a large group that probably did the same, but if they really ended up playing this game a lot less because of lack of splitscreen, they might end up skipping the next Halo completely if it doesnt have any.
On the other hand, if (perhaps through the power of the Scorpio) they re-instate splitscreen, they might attract current + older Halo fans.
I’m just curious why a lot of people dont seem to care about splitscreen, I assume most people have friends come over now and then for a nice game or two or have family they can play with (siblings/kids)? Why would you then not want the option to share the fun? To me, since we’ve always had it, it feels like a loss…

I know this is an older thread, but I am a Halo player, to a fashion. I mainly just play around with friends in forge of course, but I think that still counts.
Think it’d be funny to get a bunch of us together and even I’d be happy to participate. At least I can’t get salty really as you guys certainly have the advantage and I enjoy just trying to hit something

So I’m currently making a Hunger Games map on the game and I was wondering you guys would like to join in on the session (we can all decide on a time). It’s 80% done and I’m certain I’ll finish it today.
