Just some clarity here, is Gargos supposed to the boss of season 3 like ARIA was for season 2 or is the boss of the entire game?

Yep he is the primary antagonist of this game (and I would assume the entire franchise)
He is like the M. Bison, Ogre or Shao Kahn of killer instinct
