Favorite game composers

Who are some of your favorite game composers?

My favorite game composers currently are Mick Gordon (KI Season 1, KI Season 2, DOOM) and Gareth Coker (Ori and the Blind Forest, Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition) :sunglasses:

Grant Kirkhope son.

All the KI Composers (Beanland, Gordon, Plug, Dweller), as well as the Doom composers (Mick Gordon, Sonic Clang, and other older people from D1 and 2) and whoever did Halo.

In particular though, Mick Gordon is THE name that springs to mind. Killer Instinct, Wolfenstein, and Doom have some of the best music anywhere thanks to that man.

You forgot to put down/mention Norton as the other original KI composer for the KI series

You mean Norgate, Graeme Norgate

Steve jablonsky from Gears of War series (so epic!), Akira Yamaoka from Silent Hills (so special!) and Kow Otani from Shadow of The Colossus (it’s just wow).

Oh yeah! I love what they are doing with KI, Mick Gordon did a great job before! (so hyped) and the old games have really cool music too.

Mick Gordon, for his work in KI and Doom.
Steve Jablonsky, for his work in Gears of War.
Marty O’Donnell, for his work in Halo and Destiny.

Marty O’Donnell for his work on Halo. Mass Effect composers also did a fantastic job - ME3 had an amazing soundtrack.

Crush 40.

The mix of Jun Senoue’s Asian inspired guitar riffs and song composition, and Johnny’s American ballad rock voice makes for action tracks that you just cant find anywhere else.

Whoops, sorry. My bad and an honest mistake too. Thanks for pointing that out to and at the same time reminding me about that
