It would be a REALLY silly move in my opinion if Eyedol isn’t in Season 3 in some form.

I’m not necessarily the biggest member of the Eyedol Movement, but it does feel redundant to bring everyone except him back.
I remember on the old forums there was an idea about giving him one, singular head? That would be cool, and might make him look less odd (no reason we couldn’t, say, bring it back in the retro)
I only worry about his gameplay. Aganos has his club somewhat covered; what about making him stand out in terms of gameplay?

Nah, he needs to have the two heads. That’s like removing Fulgore’s ponytail, it’s a staple for the character! As for gameplay I think a grappling rusher would be more my thing for Eyedol while Gargos would be this big, hulking tank of a zoner/grappler.

Personally am not looking forward to Eyedol or Gargos. Mostly because I thought their design in the original games looked boring, Even if they modernize their design I feel like its going to look god awful. Oh well, at least maybe the cameo characters will look good.
If Eyedol is in the game eventually I feel like he should remain an actual boss character and not be playable.

Being able to swap stance sounds awesome, actually! And I do see your point about the Aganos club.
Yes! The swapping stance idea sounds insane! Either way, both Eyedol and Gargos need a spot on the roster. It wouldn’t feel complete without them.

Gargos is certain (Season 2’s Story kinda spells that out), but yeah, Eyedol’s a bit more in the air.
Gargos is almost certainly making it in on story basis alone.
Don’t know how to feel about Eyedol. He’s dumb.
Indeed. Though I think a clash between the God’s (Gargos and Eyedol) would be brilliant for S3 Story!

Personally, I’d be happy if both bosses were left out. In my opinion, they were both ridiculous. That won’t happen though. The Gargos name drops have been heavy, to say the least.
So with Kim Wu and Tusk 100% confirmed, and Gargos “soft confirmed”, it would be very odd to just leave Eyedol hanging out there. So I now expect all to be back.
I have no doubt he’ll be back, they know we want him and we want him to be done right.
I’m all for Eyedol making a return for season 3. Just waiting for this new user status to be lifted so I can post some pictures.
Hasn’t Eyedol been super confirmed to not exist in the reboot because of Aria running Ultra Tech? I thought a Double Helix dev a year ago confirmed this.
I hope he doesn’t come back to be honest
