Not to be that guy, but did that actually answer your question? Your question (as I understood it) was “when” the driver support would come. While “the future” is a response, I can’t say it’s particularly instructive since we already knew that driver support was coming.
Not trying to high jack your thread, but I’m one of those players who would like to play on computer with my X1 fightstick.
I had no idea drivers were coming, so it’s something.
But you are right, they should give at least an approximate time.
