I am hype over this news! Loved double dragon neon also, Id love it if ps4 had it so I can keep playing it without finding my old ps3
Double Dragon Neon was a pretty fun game, and I thought Skullmageddeon was a rather fun antagonist, but I honestly thought the campyness of the game kinda took more away from from what made Double Dragon awesome than it added to.
It was just a great brawler with fun moves and, for the time, a rather deep moveset to choose from, especially DD2 with the double cyclone kick…awesomeness.
I really wish they would make a new Double Dragon movie, but nothing like the first one. In fact if they emulated any previous movie in style, they should make it similar to Roadhouse.
Trailer. I’m a bit torn on this one, on one hand I totally understand continuing the NES trilogy given the legacy of it and really to be honest DD has had WAY too many remakes with different art styles and while the arcade game and advance has a more refined style I don’t think those styles aged well but on the other hand I think they could’ve instead just made a new style altogether. This is arc systems we’re talking about so HD sprites aren’t out of the question for them, maybe they were just looking to do something quick for the anniversary? Eh I just hope it plays well, I’m glad we have a sequel instead of a remake ultimately.

I don’t get though is they claim you have to go rescue Marian again, but in Double Dragon 2 Roper straight up murders her at the start of the game:
And yeah I know that’s the arcade version, but other other DD2 versions follow the same story.
I mean, they could always do a reboot, but then why call it DD4? That implies it’s a continuation of what little story the originals had.

DD2 on the NES revives her at the end though iirc. actually come to think of it MAYBE that’s one of the reasons this is a follow up to the NES trilogy.

seems the timeline for the nes trilogy has changed with this new addition it goes
DD1, DD3, DD2, DD4 according to the website.

I would love if Jimmy Lee made a cameo in KI. Maybe as a Kim Wu cousin.. 
I hate how its turning into PS4 exclusive. If it was on xbox perhaps IGS would give Jago a Billy Lee outfit.
I dont like that is still has 8-bit look of NES installments.
I understand its nostalgia and all that, but personally I had enough of riding on nostalgia ticked with games, and beat em up genre could use an actual progress instead of recycling.
