Wrestling is all about grappling and counter grappling, so I wouldn’t say so.
Aganos’s throw is useful for getting chunks, obviously, but he’s missing the other part of the equation; his wake up isn’t super. Luchadores, Jiu Jitsu masters, Greko-Roman Wrestlers, etc are all at home on the ground, finding ways to grapple one another. If Aganos is on the ground, he’s probably at the mercy or his opponent in most cases.
I’m not sure what you mean by this exactly. I find that, most of the time, you’ll probably want to keep him grounded.
Generally, “ground fighting” refers to fighting styles that revolve around you and your opponent laying down, using trying to get your opponent pinned or tapped out.
I suppose in the context of video games, a better way to put it would be “knocked down” or “on his back”
