Do you play other FG games besides KI?

Is it worth investing time and effort into 3 fighting games?

I think I may have bought too many I have 3 FG games. But I am not sure if a KI player would have time to learn and play another 2 FG games

Depends on whether or not you are capable of playing more than one.

EDIT:
By that I mean, if you can keep the inter-game nuances compartmentalized enough to transition amongst multiple sets of slightly different rules/mechanics. Some people can, some people can’t.

I find it gets easier with the games being farther apart in system. An example would be going from KI to GG is no problem for me, but after a lot of KI playing SFV is considerably more difficult (lots of drops, lots of ‘but I totally blocked that!’).

Playing Smash-likes is pretty much playing a different genre altogether (I play it with a different controller, anyway) - so there is zero problem transitioning between KI and Rivals of Aether. I’m not getting into the ‘is Smash FGC tho??’ conversation here, I’m just using another example.

Essentially, if they’re different enough or if you are mentally strong enough, yeah - play all the fighting games. Otherwise, maybe stick to the one or two you like, lest ye never ‘git gud’ at any of them. Unless of course ‘git gud’ isn’t what you’re after. Then play everything, have fun. Fun is usually good.

I dabble in other games. MKX, DOA5, Soul Calibur V, Smash, whatever.
I just always come back to KI because I like playing it more than other fighting games. Most of the rest of my library are from other genres.

If you want to play more games, go for it. Of you have fun playing them, I wholeheartedly encourage having fun with as many games as you desire.

^ Yeah I have this tendency to stick to 1 game for quite some time heck the amount of crap I bought on Steam due to impulse buy thinking I would play it later on. But I think I can handle 3 FG games

But I always find myself coming back to KI I have SF5 aswell but there is just something about KI the whole music and artwork its feels so gritty and dark. Even a bright stage like tush stage has this sick ■■■ music to it. One thing is certain these people really invested in music for this game it really sets the mood.

Ki and sfv for me

Kof is to different for me hate animie fighters pretty much

Don’t like mks dial in

So yeah sf and ki for me

I dabble in a few other fighters but the only one I play as much as KI is Tekken 7

I wanted to play MKX but WB/NRS despises my money.

Too hard to play SF5 and KI as they’re similar enough to cause confusion.

My favorite figthing games are

Killer instinct : Glacius .TJ Combo. Aganos And Eyedoll.

Street Figther: Dalhsim and Guile.

Soul Calibur: Astaroth.Rock, Lizard Man.

Also like to play Samuray Shodown 2.Hanzo, Kioshiro ,ChamCham

KOF98. Vice, Iori, Terry. Ryo,Takuma and Yashiro .

Currently KI is my main game. Tekken 7 seems good though. I need more FGs lol.

You can say that again. I think they’re allergic.

I’ve been playing KI and Tekken Tag 2 lately. I tend to flip back and forth between two fighting games. Maybe three, but that’s really only if the third one is an older game that I just get a hankering to pull out and experience again, like a Power Stone or a Soul Calibur or MK9 or whatever; something that I enjoy returning to every so often.

But yeah, most of the time, it’s flipping between two games. KI and MKX, KI and Guilty Gear Xrd, KI and TT2 etc.

Killer Instinct, Sm4sh, Pokken Tournament…

I also recently bought Skullgirls though I haven’t played it yet

I’ve always mainly played KI but I also play, MKX, SFV, Smash 4, Skullgirls, Guilty Gear XRD (still haven’t bought revalator though), aND I plan on getting Tekken 7 and KOF 14 when they come out.

Bought and played SFV before KI S3 came out. I don’t have much of an issue switching between the two, but tend to play a lot more KI since I just find it more fun.

I play SFV as well and I don’t have much of a problem transferring skills between KI and SFV, they have a lot of similar crossover, especially with the importance of throws and the strength of jump-ins. I find that it’s good to balance multiple fighting games because it forces your brain to think more and you only grow as a player.

I hate that you have to press a button to block in MKX. It makes the game inferior on a fightstick MKX has to be the only FG game in the world thats superior on a controller. Well actually KI is better played on a controller since the introduction of combo assist aswell.

although i havent played in a while I love

Persona Ultimax
Soul Calibur V (it’s the most fluid and rewarding plus super special moves are done in an artistically tasteful and quick manner) has the widest variety of character animations/ specials NO. One . Is like Ivy
Xmen next Dimension (psylockes greatest moveset ever)
KI 2 orchid (helicopter special/ ichi ni San tonfa style/ off screen ultra ftw)
Mvc3 mostly for storm iron man Phoenix
Skull girls complete fun
Blazblue/ guilty gear/ snk all stars
KOF series
Injustice how could you not- Nightwing
MKX graphic top tier
KI 2013 reboot gameplay replay value always has a top pick in my opinion

I play many fighting games, some i revisit often, some i play fairly consistently.. but im not trying to go pro so i dont focus on just one or two. Some of my favorites i play somewhat consistently is SFV, Skullgirls, capcom marvel games, and of course KI.. KI is my most consistent game currently but i go to SFV and USF4 on occasion. Ive been playing fighting games for over 20 years so its not hard for me to switch around.
