Destiny 2: Forsaken

Anyone else playing the new Destiny 2 expansion lately? This series has always been a bumpy road to put it modestly, but IMO Forsaken has been pretty good so far. The new endgame stuff is great and there’s been a lot to keep the content feeling fresh over the past month. I mean it’s still got a lot of finer points to work on, but the experience is in a much better place now. Looking forward to tackling the Raid next week!

I haven’t put D2: Forsaken down since the day it launched. Currently setting at 567 and will be doing the raid this sat.

I agree. It is VASTLY better than it was. Random rolls made a huge difference and the fact that it takes me almost a week to complete everything on one character is a plus. Gambit is amazing, but Crucible is still the Crucible. Its fun as long as you aren’t running against cheaters.

The Infusion system could use some tweaking, or at least give us more ways to get Master Cores.

Other than that I love it! The Dreaming City is one of the best locations ever created in Destiny. I love the fact that your actions actually impact how the area evolves.

I of have kind of a love-hate relationship with Gambit right now. It’s a blast to play when everyone is around the same playing level, but the abusable meta weapons, comeback mechanics, and invader wallhacks are frustrating me a lot right now. TBH I’m having more fun in Crucible currently, though I am sold on Gambit’s potential.

Sounds like Bungie is going to address the MW Core issue in the near future by renaming them and giving players more sources to obtain them. Seems like the right choice if Bungie intends for them to be multi-purpose.
