Cant play with friends after the update! (xbox)

since the update me and my friend have been unable to play together in both exhibition and lobby mode. whether I invite him or he does, we always get the “couldn’t start multiplayer” message. Help! :frowning:

Also, when i click on “trials” section in “master”, i just get a blank screen and i can’t leave it unless I quit the game!

I will ask the “obvious question” - have you both power cycled your consoles and re-launched the game on both ends? If not, give that a try and see if it works. Had a set with @Jukesy1992 today and it was fine.
